This work package (WP) focuses on fostering active engagement and improving accessibility within the Erasmus+ Youth programmes for young people with disabilities and policy makers. The WP targets key stakeholders in the medico-social and youth sectors, aiming to empower these groups to take an active role in shaping and benefiting from Erasmus+ opportunities.

Key Aims:

  • Enhance cooperation between administrations and medico-social organizations via national working groups.
  • Build legitimacy of medico-social structures by involving them directly in Erasmus+ project development.
  • Encourage inclusiveness across the four stages of project development—planning, preparation, implementation, and follow-up.
  • Facilitate access to Erasmus+ programmes through structured recommendations.
  • Promote disability inclusion and celebrate diversity as a strength within youth mobility initiatives

The Youth Campaign serves as the culmination of WP4’s work and took place in the form of a Social Hackathon. The hackathon were organized by partners from 4 countries: Greece, France, Spain and Italy. The goals of this event include:

  • Developing final proposals for real, actionable projects by youth teams.
  • Strengthening networks and partnerships between youth and organizations.
  • Showcasing the contributions of socio-educational facilitators, youth organizations, and young people with disabilities.
  • Providing families of participants with confidence in the independence and abilities of young people with disabilities.
