On the 15th, 16th and 17th of October 2024, we held the first LTT of the DIS-Abilities project in Athens, Greece: ‘Learning about the Erasmus+ programme and disability inclusion’. Fifteen professionals from France, Italy, Spain and Greece participated, all of whom were involved in working with young people with disabilities.

During these three days of training, participants were immersed in comprehensive training to learn about the Erasmus+ programme, how it is structured and how its activities are carried out, and, above all, the opportunities it offers for the participation of young people with disabilities. The aim was to guide them in the creation of new inclusive projects that benefit the above-mentioned target group. To this end, on the one hand, different sessions were held aimed at understanding the objectives of the programme, the creation of inclusive projects, the creation of international consortiums and connections with other entities and understanding the financial side of Erasmus+ projects.

On the other hand, the training also focused on working directly with young people with disabilities, with the last day devoted to a workshop for this purpose.
