DIS-ABILITIES PROJECT

About US

DIS-Abilities is a project funded by the European Union.

The project aims to arise and favor legitimacy of being part of European Programs amongst youngsters with different abilities through developing legitimacy in health and social care organizations, and making regular youth organizations being more inclusive.

Legitimacy can be the fact of being allowed by law, done according to the rules of an organization and it can be too the state of being fair or honest. The sector is already allowed by law, but the rules are still the ones from governments and youth organizations and the H&S sector should now take those programs up and make it their image. They would then develop a legitimacy feeling as they will be capable to capitalize, take advantage of and mobilize European programs to answer the youngster’s needs.

On the other side, youth organizations that are working daily with E+ programs, will develop more knowledges around different abilities and special needs of younsters and how to make even inclusive their activities.
